Denver mohel Dr. Ken Katz recently
performed the first bris at the Bagel Delicatessen.
Family members enjoyed a nosh following the bris of Brandeis
Viorst, whose grandmother, well-known author Judith Viorst, kvelled.
Dr. Katz was also pleased to perform the bris of Lee Stein Ratson,
whose mother, Sheryl Stein Ratson of New York, went into labor 10 weeks early
during a Pesach seder at the Denver home of her sister, Arlene Stein.
The bris was held at HEA with Rabbi Bruce Dollin and Cantor Martin
Goldstein participating. Baby
Lee’s father is Moshe Ratson. His
mother is the USA marketing director for El Al Israel Airlines.
